TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.1 About Us
Switch Fleet Services Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides mobile tyre fitting, vehicle servicing, fleet maintenance, and recovery services across London and the M25. Our registered address is Suite 220, The Wenta Business Centre, Innova Park, Enfield, EN3 7XU, United Kingdom. You can contact us via enquiries@switchfleetservices.com or on 0203 576 4888.
1.2 Services
We provide automotive services including but not limited to mobile tyre fitting, puncture repairs, battery replacement, vehicle servicing, fleet maintenance support, and emergency call-outs. Services are carried out at the customer’s location, roadside, depot, or other agreed site. All services are subject to availability, safety conditions, and accurate booking information.
1.3 Booking Responsibility
By placing a booking, the customer confirms that all information provided is accurate and complete. This includes vehicle registration, tyre size, service requirements, and the full address where the service is to be carried out. We rely entirely on the information provided at the time of booking and cannot be held responsible for any issues, delays, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete details.
1.4 Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any additional work, materials, or time required beyond the original booking may result in additional charges. We reserve the right to charge for wasted journeys, delays, or additional labour caused by incorrect booking information or access issues.
1.5 Call-Out and Access
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is accessible, safe to work on, and located at the agreed address at the time of the appointment. If our technician is unable to carry out the work due to restricted access, unsafe conditions, incorrect location details, or the customer not being present, the visit may still be chargeable.
1.6 Tyres and Parts
Tyres and parts may be sourced or ordered specifically for each booking. Once ordered, these items are non-refundable and non-returnable. If incorrect information is provided by the customer resulting in the wrong parts being supplied, the customer will remain liable for the cost of those items and any replacements required.
1.7 Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice. Requests made within 48 hours of the appointment may incur charges. Any tyres or parts ordered in advance will remain chargeable regardless of cancellation timing. Further details are outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
1.8 Delays and External Factors
While we aim to attend all bookings on time, we are not liable for delays caused by factors outside of our control. These may include traffic conditions, weather, supplier delays, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
1.9 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of earnings, or vehicle downtime. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
1.10 Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue any service if conditions are deemed unsafe, if incorrect information has been provided, or if the technician is placed at risk. In such cases, the call-out may still be chargeable.
RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
2.1 General Policy
Due to the nature of our services and the fact that tyres and parts are often ordered specifically for each booking, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions outlined below. By placing a booking, the customer agrees to this policy.
2.2 Cancellations
Customers may cancel or reschedule their booking by providing at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the appointment. Where sufficient notice is given, a full refund will be issued for any service-related charges. However, any tyres or parts ordered in preparation for the booking will remain non-refundable.
2.3 Late Cancellations
For cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment, service-related charges may be partially or fully retained at our discretion. While the call-out fee may be waived in certain cases, any tyres or parts ordered specifically for the booking will remain fully chargeable and non-refundable.
2.4 Tyres and Parts
All tyres and parts supplied by us are considered special order items once purchased or allocated to a booking. These items cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged unless they are proven to be faulty or incorrectly supplied by us. This applies regardless of whether the booking proceeds or is cancelled.
2.5 Incorrect Booking Information
If a booking is made with incorrect details, including but not limited to tyre size, vehicle specification, or service requirements, the customer will be responsible for any resulting costs. This includes replacement parts, additional labour, and any further call-out charges required to complete the job.
2.6 Missed Appointments and No Shows
If the customer is not present at the agreed location, or if the vehicle is not accessible at the scheduled time, the appointment will be considered a missed booking. In such cases, the call-out and any associated costs may still be charged.
2.7 Failed Completion
If we attend a booking and are unable to complete the work due to reasons outside of our control, including incorrect details or site conditions, the visit may still be chargeable. Additional charges may apply if a return visit is required.
2.8 Faulty or Incorrect Supply
If a tyre or part supplied by us is faulty or has been incorrectly provided due to our error, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund as appropriate. This does not apply where the issue arises from incorrect information provided by the customer.
